Learning Loss during pandemic

Family Support Organization of Essex County understands that Families in crisis require focused and personalized attention to help resolve and address the unique needs.

FSOEC also recognized and heard your concerns about the education of your children, regression, learning loss, lack of school support and recognizing that the school system is not well equipped to assist individuals with mental health issues and /or disabilities and through this Pandemic has showed the lack of support to parents whom had to step in as teachers and therapists among other roles.

At this time is important to understand and take a stand to secure the need for the  state to address student learning loss by promoting research-based interventions, such as intensive summer learning and tutoring, beside Compensatory education and services.
