The Family Support Organization
of Essex County (FSOEC) is a family centered, family driven non-profit organization that provides peer support, education and advocacy for parents and caregivers of children who have emotional and/or behavioral challenges. Our goal is to empower parents and caregivers to take control of their lives by building on their strengths and supporting them where needed.

We encourage public and private agencies to work together to strengthen families with the goal of keeping children safe and healthy in their homes and communities.

The Family Support organization exists to:

• Empower parents and caregivers of children
  with special emotional, behavioral and mental
  health challenges
• Work collaboratively as a system partner in planning, organizing, delivering and coordinating appropriate care to individual children and their families.
